Slug.
Frantic dissonance, samples, off-kilter grooves. Serpent Column, Creation is Crucifixion, Ion Dissonance, Thoughts of Ionesco, and Commit Suicide all up in ya... no mercy.

I came here only to be musically abused to the absurdest of degrees - and I got what I wanted! MSRBLFLR's Death March is an abrasive cacophony, a lesson in dissonant, claustrophobic aggression. Compared to the inexplicably heavy bludgeoning transpiring here, the thought of practicing autocannibalism does not seem that absurd anymore. This may be the sonic equivalent of a mind being shredded by and finally succumbing to an autopsychosis. Just to give you an impression of how it sounds like.

แผฉ ฮตแผฐฮบฯฮฝ was an impressive debut, but way too short! Luckily, ฮจฮตฯ ฮดฮฟฮผฮญฮฝฮท arrives to satisfy the urge for more of what made its precedessor hit hard and fast: some atmospheric moments (don't be deterred as this is still brutal, dissonant and disgusting to the core) and at the same time, J.L. is exploring longer tracks - e.g. my personal favourite - and implementing some cavernous lows. If there's one thing we can all agree on, it's most likely that this man refuses to stand still. What a pace! David Fischer
